Why families choose Veda

Learning is more than marks

We teach the whole student: understanding, confidence, study habits and wellbeing, alongside results.

Holistic learning

A student who feels calm and capable learns faster. We build confidence and good study habits, not just test scores.

Every child is different

Pace, style and goals are set for your child. Visual learners, quiet thinkers and fast movers each get lessons that suit them.

One network, one approach

Our tutors are trained in the Veda way, hold a Working with Children Check, and are supported by Sanya.

You always know how it's going

A written progress report every term, and you can message us any time.

The style of notes your child takes home

Handwritten notes by SanyaEvery topic comes with clear, handwritten notes written by our founder herself. Students keep them, revise from them, and parents can see exactly what was covered.

Sanya Dhingra

Founder & Director

Meet the founder

Every student can understand it, once it’s explained their way.

Sanya has been tutoring for over three years, teaching students from Year 1 all the way to university level. She is currently completing a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy, which shapes how she teaches: she pays as much attention to how a student feels about a subject as to what they know.

She believes in holistic learning. Every child is different, so her methods are too: she finds how each student thinks, fills the gaps, and builds the confidence that makes the marks follow.

Every topic comes with handwritten notes Sanya writes herself, so students always have something clear to revise from. She has built a network of tutors across Maths, the sciences, English, languages and entry tests (SACE, UCAT, Casper, ISAT, IELTS and medicine and dentistry applications) who all follow the same approach.

Questions

Good to know

Where do lessons happen?

Online anywhere in Australia on Zoom or Google Meet, or in person at your home wherever we have a tutor nearby. For home lessons, a parent or guardian needs to be home.

How long is a lesson?

Most lessons are one hour. Senior and test-prep students sometimes choose 1.5 hours.

How does payment work?

You receive one invoice at the start of each month and pay by bank transfer within 7 days.

What if we need to cancel?

Give us at least 24 hours' notice and we'll move the lesson. Lessons cancelled later than that, or missed, are charged in full.

How will I know if it's working?

Your tutor writes a short progress report every term covering topics, strengths, what to work on, and goals for next term. You can message us any time too.
